The Apprentice Training Program enables students who are employed by a barber shop or salon (and have a Registered Training Contract) to earn and learn while they complete the Certificate III in Barbering (SHB30516). The qualification includes the core skills of hairdressing in addition to specialist barbering units. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, students will graduate with a nationally recognised qualification and can work as a Qualified Barber.
