The graduation collection masterclass
This collection explores volume through the use of graduation. Exploring bespoke disconnection and internal and external graduation. Expect hands-on mastery in shape building, weight control, and enhancing and controlling natural texture—designed specifically with short hair work in mind. Through a progressive series of looks, you’ll refine your ability to craft contemporary, feminine silhouettes that enhance bone structure, movement, and flow. From precision sectioning to deliberate disconnection, this series challenges participants to think sculpturally and work with intention, all while customising for suitability and style longevity on short-length clients.

ATILIO DUSA
Atilio brings over two decades of expertise as Creative Director at Clip Joint Hairdressing, where precision, curl artistry, and Sassoon discipline define his signature. His educational philosophy empowers stylists to translate technique into effortless, real-world results—prioritising natural texture and understated elegance. From New York Fashion Week to global campaigns and fashion festivals, his work reflects a refined creative lens shaped by art, culture, and the ever-iconic Cate Blanchett. Sassoon training was a pivotal catalyst—igniting a lifelong commitment to craft, clarity, and the pursuit of less-but-better.
MELISSA MACDONALD
Melissa MacDonald’s career is defined by technical discipline, creative restraint, and an enduring respect for structure. A cornerstone of the Clip Joint education team, she is renowned for her sculptural cuts—clean outlines, fluid movement, and a form-follows-function philosophy that favours longevity over trend. With international styling credits and years of teaching across fashion weeks and salons, her Sassoon retraining marked a pivotal evolution—refining both craft and curriculum. Influenced by architecture and Scandinavian minimalism, Melissa’s approach is quiet yet commanding—precision-led and grounded in timeless design.
ELIZA COLLIER
For Eliza Collier, hair is refined design—where structure meets self-expression with clarity and purpose. Initially trained in graphic design, her creative instincts led her to hairdressing, where form, texture, and transformation became her language. At Clip Joint, she developed a signature defined by Sassoon precision: elegant silhouettes, tailored structure, and styling that reflects both the client’s lifestyle and aesthetic. Her work spans runway, editorial, and long-standing creative direction for Paolo Sebastian—merging timeless influence with contemporary refinement. As an educator, Eliza champions thoughtful artistry and encourages emerging stylists to lead with curiosity, discipline, and quiet confidence.
